Welcome to the Tulip Privacy Policy. Tulip is a product of Plutas ("we," "us," "our"), and we are fully committed to protecting your personal information and privacy rights. Information We Collect

• Account Data: Email, name, username, profile picture, and preferences when you register.
• Project Data: Details about projects you create, join, or collaborate on (title, description, skills, timelines).
• Usage Data: Device type, IP address, usage patterns, and activity logs.
• Location Data: Approximate location from IP address to improve matching.
• AI Matching Data: Text and profile content submitted for our matching features.
• Support and Feedback: Messages sent to Tulip/Plutas for support, feedback, or account requests.

Note: Tulip does not collect payment data, credit card details, or business billing information, as there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage user accounts
• Enable project posting, matching, and collaboration features
• Provide personalized recommendations via AI matching tools
• Respond to support requests and feedback
• Monitor and improve user experience and platform security
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce rights/protect against abuse

• No sale or rental: Tulip does not sell, rent, or trade any personal data for commercial purposes.

• Account data: Retained for 7 years after closure for compliance.
• Project and usage logs: Retained up to 12 months after inactivity.
• Support messages: Retained for 1 year for audit.
• Data may be kept longer if required by law, security, or ongoing legal matter.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and personal data through the Tulip app or by contacting Plutas support. Data not required for compliance will be deleted promptly; some may be retained as legally required.

AI Features and Processing

Tulip uses AI to recommend matches and collaborations and to enhance project filtering and suggestions. AI outputs may not always be accurate; users should exercise judgment and verify recommendations. Tulip does not use personal data from Google APIs or similar sources to train generalized or non-personalized AI models.

User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or export your data; delete your account; object to certain types of processing; or complain to your national data authority.

• UK users: Protected by UK GDPR. Data transfers comply with applicable law.
• Canadian users: Protected under PIPEDA.

Children

Tulip is only intended for users ages 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Updates to Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in business practice or law. Updates will change the "Last Updated" date. Continued use means you accept changes.
